Barbara Lusk, 66, of Perryville, Maryland peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on March 16, 2017. Barbara is originally from Boissevain, Virginia and relocated to Delaware at age 10.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lusk, and her step-daughter, Cindi O'Reilly

She survived by her mother, Bea English, her siblings, Alan and Cheri Stallard and Mike and Kim Morehart, her two daughters, Laura Leathern-Houck and Jeff Houck, and Shelia Leathern and Jeff Valentine, and two step-children, Ricky and Frieda Lusk, and Valerie and Jamie Quesenberry. She was also loved by her grandchildren, Owen Beattie, Kirstyn Weikel-Alexander, Jessica Beattie and TJ Weikel and her step-grandchildren, Jenny Pawley and Mindy Sartin. She also survived by her aunts and uncles and her best friend and great grandchild, Bryleigh Alexander.

Barbara loved the beach and spending time with her family. She was a warm heart and a soft smile to everyone she came in contact with. She loved a good laugh and always strived to make others giggle as well.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702 on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm where a Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation to your local kidney research foundation in honor of Barbara.
