Edwin (Bud) Milo Carley of Chesapeake City, MD passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 10, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in the fall of 1930 in Stone Lake, WI.

"Bud" was drafted into the Marine Corp in the winter of 1952 as a radio operator in the Korean War until he was honorably discharged in 1957. His career post military was based on being a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in the mid 80's. In his free time he was a licensed VFR fixed wing pilot. He had a musical ear and taught himself how to play numerous musical instruments including the piano, accordion, guitar, dobro, harmonica, and clarinet. He was also a member of the Hayward VFW band, The Nighthawks. To pass time in retirement he enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and was a walking encyclopedia of information.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna J Carley, his children Donna L. Brennan, Edwin A. (Danielle) Carley, Gwendolyn Carley, Lance (Marla) Carley, Renfro (Jessica) Carley, Domonie (Jason) Bochniak, Daniel (Carrie) Carley and his brother William (Marilyn) Carley. He is also survived by his beloved pets Chewy and Zeus. He has many grand & great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Edwin G. Carley and siblings Byrl, Vern, James and Tom Carley, Marjorie (Les) Steinmeyer, Elizabeth (Ben) Melesio, son Matthew and daughter Erin.

Funeral Services will be private.
