Fred Guiliano, age 73, of Bear Delaware, formerly of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Fred was born on June 29, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey, son of Josephine Mattoscio Guiliano and Samuel Guiliano.

He graduated from Kennett High School in 1961 and went into the Air Force later that same year. He then became a police officer for Kennett Borough and then for New Garden Township. After that, he became a carpenter and taught carpentry school for Delaware Carpenter's Local 626 until he retired in 2003.

Fred was a very talented man who enjoyed many activities including hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was especially known for his amazing woodworking skills. He will forever be known for his humorous personality, stubborn mind, and big heart. He had a strong Christian faith witnessed by church family at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Bear.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Candy Guiliano; two children, son Fred Guiliano and his wife Kristin, daughter Barbara Jean Guiliano-Burke and her husband Steven; sister Dolores Testa and her husband Louis Testa; three grandchildren Dylan, Maurissa, and Seth; and three nieces Lisa Kelly, Michelle Slicer, and Christine Hendrickson.
