Horace "Skip" Risley, Jr., age 72, of Greenwood, DE, formerly of Voorhees, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Christiana Hospital.
Skip graduated in 1964 from Deptford High School in New Jersey. After graduating, he worked as a machinist in various places, most recently at "Gunnison" in Gibbsboro, NJ and "CCL Container" in Swedesboro, NJ. Skip was a former member of the Lindenwold Moose Lodge and Gibbsboro-Voorhees Lions Club.
Mr. Risley was predeceased by his father Horace Sr. "Bud" and his mother Iva "Ruth" Risley (McCauley).
Horace is survived by his wife Kathryn Risley (Nee Hall); brothers William Risley (Carol), Harry 'Tom' Risley (Terry); his two sons Brian and Daniel; stepchildren Lynn Shay (Michael), Robert Bolkus (Justine), Kelly Bolkus (Thomas Moffa); 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Aunts Marilyn Ramos and Violet Risley; Uncle Paul Risley and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11 am at Cornerstone United Methodist Church , 3135 Summit Bridge Road, Bear, DE 19701.
