Janice E. Denning, age 76, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Season's Hospice in Christiana Hospital.

Janice was a teacher in the Brandywine School District for 30 years. She was also an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University. She loved bowling and was a lifetime member of the Delaware Women's Bowling Association, and at one time was its President. Janice was also a member of the Wilmington Women's Bowling Association and the Women's International Bowling Congress. She was very active in coaching and coached the junior bowlers for over 40 years. Janice was a Girl Scout leader and advisor for Cathedral Church of St. John Troop 163 and the senior girls Troop 257 of Concord Presbyterian Church.

She is predeceased by her mother, Martha Denning, and her brother, Raymond Denning. She is survived by friends, students, colleagues and acquaintances, to numerous to list.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 2320 Grubb Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19810, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. and burial at Lawncroft Cemetery. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2010, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David's or an animal rescue organization of your choice.
