Laura Helen Treleaven Williams, age 95, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Wilmington passed away March 12, 2016.

Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, L. Wilmer Williams. She was born in the fall of 1920 in Richford, New York and was an Executive Secretary for Hercules, Inc. for 33 years, retiring in 1982. She worked in the Synthetics Department for 10 years before taking a 10 year break to raise her son, Larry. She then re-joined the company for another 22 years with positions in the Advertising, Personnel, and Research Departments before her final assignment working for the Vice President of New Enterprise. She grew up in Middletown, Delaware where she graduated from Middletown High School. She then graduated with a business degree from Goldey-Beacom College. She married the love of her life, Wilmer Williams of Middletown, in 1946 and they lived in Wilmington for 55 years until relocating to Florida to be close to their son and his family.

Survivors include one son, Lawrence W. Williams, wife Mary Jane, of Amelia Island, FL, two grandchildren, Kristin and Tim, and three great grandchildren, Isabel, Nathaniel and Owen.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation in celebration of Mrs. Williams' life on Thursday, March 17th from 10 - 11 AM at Hillcrest-Bellefonte United Methodist Church, 400 Hillcrest Ave. Wilmington, DE 19809. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in Townsend, Delaware.
