Rosemary Ann Greenwell, most beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, age 85, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2017.
Rosemary graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington.
Rosemary worked for the Dupont/Merck Company as an executive secretary and administrative assistant. After she retired she continued to work at Boscov's well into her 70's. During her free time she enjoyed reading and completing the Sunday edition New York Times crossword puzzle. Rosemary was an exceptional cook and she enjoyed cooking for her entire family.
Rosemary was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Drane in 2004 and her grandson Frankie Patterson in 1992.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter Katherine Patterson and long time partner Edward Lapinski, her son Robert Jamieson (Jaqueline), her grandchildren, Thomas Jester, Robert Jamieson Jr (Stacey), Joseph Jester, Christopher Jamieson (Amanda), Jess Jamieson (Laura), Mackenzie Drane and Joseph Drane, along with many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews all whom she loved dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at 11 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark DE 19702. The Visitation will begin at 10 am at the funeral home.
